Lone Hand Golf was founded by Michael Orr, an adaptive golfer born with Amniotic Band Syndrome. His personal journey has deeply shaped his dedication to the adaptive community. He first stumbled across adaptive sports three years ago and competed in his first golf tournament shortly after in 2023. It was then that Michael was introduced to the North American One-Armed Golfer Association (NAOAGA) and embraced with open arms. Having witnessed the profound inspiration within this sport firsthand, he felt a flame of commitment ignite: to promote adaptive golfers around the country and highlight their remarkable journeys.

Resilience Media Initiative (RMI) is a strategic effort to increase the visibility and impact of the adaptive golf community across North America.
